Shimano SpeedMaster 12LDII 2-Speed Reel

Description

With gear strength comparable to the trusted Talica series, the SpeedMaster LD II are versatile enough to fish a variety of line classes and drag settings, with maximum drag power of 18 to 20kg – that’s a lot for a little reel!

The single piece Hagane Body means the stresses and strains associated with higher drag settings keeps all internals in perfect alignment and meshing smoothly, assisted in this regard by the presence of four SA-RB bearings. To ensure longevity of the gears in saltwater, Coreprotect coating has been applied to the pinion bearing to act as a water repellent barrier.
