Black Magic Squid Snatcher – 2.0

Description

When you’re targeting squid you need to consider 4 things when choosing your jig size and colour – the light, the water clarity, the water depth and the strength of the current. Black Magic’s high quality Squid Snatcher^? jigs have a slower decent rate than most other jigs in the market. This gives your target more chance to see and attack your jig. Black Magic always recommends that you carry a good selection of jigs to test out what colours and sizes are working on the day.

Key features

• Their super sharp?prongs are designed?to ensure a?solid hook up
• The luminous band around the tail?works as an attractant, particularly in slightly murky water conditions, or at night
• Sapphire blue eyes, and?red/black?or natural wings are designed to entice those hungry squid
• These jigs come in a range of natural and lumo colours, in sizes 2.0, 2.5, 3.0 and 3.5 ? different colours and sizes will work for different fishing environments and squid will react differently depending on how actively they?re feeding

Fishing style

• If you?re fishing at the start or end of the tide, when the flow?isn?t as strong, then the smaller 2.0-3.0 jigs are ideal as they will sink slower and be in the strike zone for a longer period
• As the tide flow increases,?it?s recommended switching to bigger 3.5 sized jigs
• If?you?re fishing at first light or in low light conditions, use?darker coloured jigs
• On sunny days and when fishing in clear water, natural or white coloured jigs tend to work better
• When the water conditions are slightly murky, a?lumo or ?glow? jig will work better
• It?s always recommended that you carry?a good selection of jigs (colours and sizes) to test out what is working on the day
